The word chakra comes from the ancient Sanskrit term for “wheel”, and that’s exactly what chakras are: spinning wheels of energy that flow through your body, connecting your physical, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing. You can think of your chakras as an energetic system, a beautiful network that keeps your life force, or prana, moving freely. When your chakras are open and balanced, energy flows smoothly, and you feel aligned, confident, and at peace. But when they become blocked or sluggish, you might feel tired, stuck, or emotionally off-balance.

Balancing your chakras doesn’t have to be complicated, there are simple, beautiful ways to begin connecting with your energy system.
💎 Using a Crystal Wand
If you have a crystal wand, you can use it to gently clear and move energy around each chakra. Hold your wand just above the chakra point and slowly swirl it in small, clockwise circles. Imagine the energy being lifted and lightened. If you sense heaviness or tension, draw the energy out and flick it away, either into the Earth or towards the light, with the intention of releasing anything that no longer serves you. Then, swirl again to restore balance and flow.

You can also work with corresponding crystals and colours by lying down and placing a crystal on each chakra point.
